Why Petowo exists

Enterprise risk software is mature, comprehensive and, for the person actually doing the work, often difficult to use. The category solved the reporting problem and left the human one alone. Petowo starts from the work itself.

Infrequent users are the real users

An operations professional may live in the system. Everybody else visits it occasionally, under pressure, possibly at the point of work. Designing for the daily user and hoping everyone else copes is how the category ended up where it is.

The organisation already knows most of the answer

The organisation already knows more than the person filling in a form. Asking them to retype people, conditions, assets or work context is a design failure, not a data-capture requirement.

Connecting is not concluding

Surfacing a potentially relevant action or record is useful. Implying it caused an outcome is unhelpful and unfair. Petowo is careful about that line, in the copy and in the model.

Provenance is not metadata

Whether a value came from a human or a system changes what an investigator should do with it. So it lives on every field, and it is visible on every screen.

Where the intelligence sits

Not in a chat window. The platform assembles context, spots what needs attention and surfaces related records inside the workflow, at the moment each is useful. People stay accountable for the interpretation and the decision.
